Ylang Ylang – Essential Oil Music, Aromatherapy Scent of Life Series, Music for Wellbeing

Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata var genuina) is a big, tropical tree that has yellow, pink or mauve flowers. The ylang-ylang essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the fragrant flowers. For Chakra work, Ylang Ylang Essential Oils are said to help balance the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras.
Benefits of Ylang Ylang essential oil
– Fights fungus, viruses and microbes. Useful for treating acne.
– Reduces itching, skin Irritation, scratchy bug bites and may be used as insect repellent.
– Great mood lifter, helps with fighting anxiety and depression.
– Ylang Ylang is considered as an aphrodisiac.
Storage of Essential Oils
Store all essential oils in a tightly closed bottle in a cold, dark room away from children’s sight. Some Essential oils react with plastic containers so it’s not recommended to keep it that way.
Essential Oil Use
There is a slight risk of skin sensitization especially in the direct, topical skin use so do not forget about making allergy test at home by your own. Remember also about avoiding oxidization and do not use it after the expiry date. For topical use it is recommended to dilute an essential oil.
