When to Apply Essential Oils: Relieve Sinus Headaches

If headaches caused by sinus infections or allergic reactions are a problem for you or someone you know, you can learn effective, natural ways to ease the symptoms at my free webinar, “Reduce Allergies Naturally.”

When should you apply Essential Oils? To help relieve sinus pressure, reduce headaches, or alleviate body stress.

This sinus headache inhaler uses essential oils to help clear the pressure from your head, reduce infections that might be leading to the discomfort, and help your body release tension.

Aromatherapy inhalers are convenient because you can carry them with you wherever you go. They fit right in your pocket or bag. If you’ve never used an inhaler before, I show you exactly how it works at 0:33.

I stick to about 15 drops of essential oil in an inhaler. This recipe calls for:

5 drops Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) (1:47)
4 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) (2:17)
6 drops Black Spruce (Picea mariana) (2:40)

You can see me use the inhaler at 3:15. (Even just watching me, I bet you can get a good idea of how well this can open your sinuses! It’s so invigorating!)

Good news! Aromatics International recently started carrying inhalers with organic wicks. You can find those here:
