When should you apply Essential Oils? When you need quick pain relief for your knees at night.
This is a recipe for natural knee pain relief with essential oils. I love using this blend at night, because the essential oils are so pain-relieving and relaxing to the nervous system.
This blend is made in a base of aloe vera gel. The aloe aids quick absorption into your knee, and it won’t smear all over your sheets the way some oils or butters might do.
At 0:57, you can see the 2 oz (60 ml) PET plastic bottle I’m making the blend in. PET plastic is known as a non-reactive plastic that doesn’t leach. In cases where glass isn’t ideal (such as a blend I might drop in the middle of the night), PET plastic is a good choice.
Shaking the bottle will give you just enough of the gel in your palm. It’s actually really convenient—if you wake up in the middle of the night and your knee’s hurting, you can just shake a few drops out and not worry about spilling it!
In the PET plastic bottle, combine:
2 oz (56 gm) Aloe vera gel (Aloe barbadensis) (1:18)
5 drops Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) (2:02)
2 drops Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) (2:19)
3 drops Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martini var. motia) (3:03)
5 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) (3:24)
3 drops Orange (Citrus sinensis) (3:47)
