One of the biggest question I get from moms has to do with what oils are safe for infants and babies. Well look no further! Having every one of these oils on hand is a must have for mothers and let me tell you exactly why…
First they are safe for infants and babies because they are all natural and non toxic and the other reason is that these oils help with SO many things!
You’ll want to make sure to use a roller bottle (which is why I have it pictured at the top) with every one of these essential oils along with a fractionated coconut oil since babies are smaller bodied and the oils are so concentrated.
My basic recipe is 1 tablespoon of fractionated coconut oil for every 5 drops of essential oil as you put it in a roller bottle. ?
Here’s the main benefits of each of the oils pictured
Melaleuca: Rub on chest, back, or knees after they’ve been crawling around (especially on carpet)
Digestzen: rub on their stomach and bottoms of feet since this tames the tummy!
Frankincense: This oil can be used to help newborns by rubbing on top of their head. You can also rub on their tummy and helps to boost their mood too.
On Guard: rub on bottoms of feet during bad times of the year., rub on sore gums for teething (use an organic and raw coconut oil with 1/4 drop of oil on finger tip, use tooth pic to get oil out)
Lemon: Make sure to rub this oil on the bottoms of their feet for seasonal threats (their bodies could use the natural detox too). Also helps with supporting healthy immune function.
Lavender: rub on spine to help with sleep or calming and relaxing the baby when they are crying.
Remember to always dilute with coconut oil when applying topically. Always good to be on the safe side! ?
