Stiff Neck? Use This Essential Oil Blend!

If you are looking to for ways to get rid of a stiff neck, then you are in the right place! So many of us wake up in the morning with a stiff neck or have neck pain from driving or working on a computer. This natural blend will help relieve your pain and regain some movement in your neck.

We are going to start with a base of Trauma Oil, if you haven’t used it before then you’re going to be glad that you’ve found it! It’s so precious, I always keep it on me while traveling. Trauma Oil is made of three different flowers that are infused in olive oil – Arnica, St John’s Wort and Calendula. It’s such an amazing carrier oil on its own to reduce pain and inflammation. It doesn’t really have a smell, and so nice to add essential oils into it.

Peppermint Essential Oil is rich in menthol and is great for reducing pain, increasing circulation, cooling things down and helping you regain movement. Lavender softens the menthol and brings in a whole different chemistry. It’s great for pain and inflammation and calms the mind and body.

Here’s how to make the Stiff Neck Essential Oil Blend:
1 oz Cobalt Blue Glass Bottle
1 oz Trauma Oil
10 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha x piperita)
10 drops of Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)

Pour the Trauma Oil into the glass bottle, and then add in the drops of Lavender and Peppermint Essential Oils and give the bottle a gentle shake. Pour a little bit on your hands and then apply to the back of your neck. The blend absorbs into your skin, but it also helps to smell the aroma!

I hope this blend helps your stiff neck, I’d love to know how it works for you!
