Smell Good All Day with this Homemade DIY Deodorant | Slick and Natty

Hi Everyone!!

Deodorant. Most of us can’t live without it…. 😉

Unfortunately, most deodorants on the market are made with toxin ingredients that are hazardous to our health. A common ingredient used in most antiperspirants is aluminium, which has been linked to breast cancer and has also been linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease.

In this video, I show you how to make a homemade deodorant using coconut oil and baking soda. This is a chemical free option to smell good and fresh all day long.

Ingredients required:
…………………………….

-Coconut Oil (Prefer Virgin, Cold-pressed coconut oil)
-Baking Soda (or Cooking Soda)
-Essential Oils (Like Lavender Oil- Optional)

How to Use:
…………………

Just apply this paste on your armpits, like you would apply any oil or a lotion.

Shelf Life:
…………….

6 months

Coconut oil is a wonderful product to use as a base for deodorant because it kills fungi, yeast and bacteria. Baking soda helps to neutralize odour and the added essential oils are also anti-bacterial.

This natural deodorant will help you stay odourless all day long. It removes body and armpit odour without subjecting you to any harmful chemicals. Moreover, it doesn’t clog the pores and hinder the natural process of sweating.
