Let’s make coconut oil moisturizer!
When you make coconut oil moisturizer this way, you can either put the coconut oil right into a 1 oz (30 ml) jar, or measure it out in a bowl first. You’ll get the right amount either way, but putting it in a bowl first is a good choice if you’re getting creative with the essential oils you’re using.
Coconut oil is solid or liquid depending on the temperature it’s stored at. (I live in Florida, so my oil is usually liquid, but I’ve been keeping this jar in the fridge.) If it’s liquid, just drop your essential oils in and give it a stir. If it’s solid, you can poke a hole in the coconut oil, drop your essential oils into the hole, and gently mash it all together.
The essential oils I’m using to make coconut oil moisturizer are:
Cardamom (Ellettaria cardamomum) — 6 drops (1:35)
Orange (Citrus sinensis) — 6 drops (2:06)
