You only need 2 ingredients for the most basic version, so no excuses for you to try this out (shea butter & coconut oil)! Then you can add different essential oils for different scents or purposes. P.P.S. – I like my body butter slightly smoother to spread, so I would personally add another 1-2 Tbsp of coconut oil to this recipe. HOWEVAH, some people (ahem, my husband, ahem) do not like an oily feel at all, so I went light on the oil in this batch and anyone who wants a smoother application can just mix an extra Tbsp of oil into their portion (me and my mom lol!) It also would depend on if you have oily skin vs. dry or combination skin – just know that you can easily adjust the amount of coconut oil to get the feel you prefer! 😉
