A quick video showing how I make my own deodorant, it’s really simple and only uses 3 ingredients! (+ optional essential oils)
You can easily adjust the quantities- I found it best to start with less baking soda because people can be sensitive to it and see how it works, you can add more or less as you prefer it. You can also add more or less arrowroot to make it thicker or thinner.
– 1 part baking soda
– 2 parts arrowroot powder (I think you can also use cornstarch)
– 3 parts coconut oil (softened so it’s easier to mix)
Optional: essential oil for scent – research the oil you use to make sure it’s ok to go on skin/armpits
I love this deodorant and find it works better than any other natural deodorants I’ve tried.
I know some people can’t wear baking soda deodorants, and if you are looking for something without baking soda I’ve heard great things about the Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deodorant (but unfortunately haven’t tried it yet myself) *
What do you use for deodorant? Do you make your own?
Thanks for watching!
