April 2019 Q&A // #HumblebeeandMe

00:28 Hello! I’m new to DIY skin care and makeup products and I just bought your book! It wonderful and so detailed! I do have a question though , my daughter (she’s 7) often likes to try my store bought lotions and face washes, but I’m wondering if the DIY recipes would be safe for childrens skin since it’s usually more sensitive or if there are certain ingredients that should be avoided if a child were to use the product? (Ashley)

04:15 If I am interested in making lotions, how do I go about making sure my products are properly preserved? I worry about getting a customer sick. (Christina)

Preservatives

08:40 Do you think oils/butters can be useful after they expired? How oils can expire? (Eugene)

10:31 Do you use a pH meter or strips? (Chris)

11:44 I have been wondering if turkey red oil, polysorbate 80 and olivem 300 are allways interchangeable, or what are their differences / similarities / best uses (Filomena)
