?My Secret Henna Paste Recipe for Dark Mehndi Stains | freehandmehndi #henna #mehndi

Ever wanted to know how to get deep maroon or black berry stains (on skin) with henna paste naturally? Here’s my secret…enjoy!

Instructions
-Bring 2-3 cups of water to a boil
-Once boiled turn off burner
-Add one tea bag (black tea)
-Add 1/4 cup of white sugar
-Squeeze the juice of half a lemon
-Let sit until tea has steeped and than mix
-Put 1/2 cup of henna powder in a bowl
-Add tea 1/3 cup at a time, mix, and add until mash potato consistency
-Add 10 drops of lavender essential oil
-Mix and add 10 more drops of lavender essential oil and mix again
-Add 1/4 cup of tea but do not mix
-Cover and allow paste to sit for 10 hours
-Mix and push out any lumps with spoon or spatula
-Put henna in carrot bag, or use immediately or freeze
